Friday 19 October 2012 presentations & posters 09:00 - 17:15

Instructions for presenters

All presentations, oral or posters, must be submitted as an Abstract. The Selection Committee will then select the subjects for presentation in oral or poster form, taking into account among others the subject and the limited number of presentations possible. Sometimes a subject submitted for oral presentation may have to be presented as a poster.

Oral presentations
Each oral presentation slot is 20 minutes and will be followed by up to 5 minutes of questions. Only PowerPoint presentations can be accepted.

Please bring with you a copy of your presentation on a disc or memory stick saved for Microsoft PowerPoint (this is particularly important for Mac users to ensure compatibility with the HeadquARTers computers). Please do not bring a laptop to run the presentation from, unless it is to demonstrate something that will only work on that laptop, e.g. piece of specialised software.

Poster presentations
Posters must not exceed A0 size (841 x 1189 mm) in portrait orientation. In case of large numbers of abstracts received, chances are that each poster will only be displayed for one day of the conference and a poster session will take place each day. Poster presenters are asked to arrive promptly on the morning when their posters will be on display to ensure that there is enough time to put the posters.Handouts in the form of A4/A3 copies of the poster are often appreciated by delegates.

PUBLICATION

Authors who want their oral presentations to be published are requested to send their manuscripts to André Verhecken, who will act as a guest editor, together with editor Jan Wouters, for having their contributions peer reviewed and published in e-Preservation Science. Accepted papers will be labeled with the name of the guest editor and the specific DHA meeting. Authors should consult the editorial guidelines at www.morana-rtd.com/e-preservationscience. In order to follow the fast publication policy of e-PS, papers should be submitted by 30 November 2012 at latest.
